Let’s not be anti-aging.

Let’s be pro-growth.

Because they’re not wrinkles. They’re proof of every time you laughed. Every time you smiled when you saw someone you loved. Every time your eyes greeted the day’s brilliant sun.

Because they’re not stretch marks. They’re growth marks. Don’t you see how much you’ve evolved? How far you’ve come? How you’ve reached into the mystic streams of universe and created a human inside of you?

Because they’re not ugly scars. They’re battle wounds. The battles you’ve won — the tragedies you’ve overcome, facing every fight with a warrior’s heart.

Even those new silly moles and wily whiskers, cushions of fat and galaxy of freckles only mean you’ve been alive long enough to scale mountains of triumphs, venture through valleys of darkness. See them as symbols of pride, not marks of shame.

Let’s not be anti-aging.

Let’s be pro-adventure. Pro-living life to its fullest. Pro-wisdom.

And be happy we’re aging. It means we’re alive.
